Airline Simulator 2.02 Patch

(C) 1999 by NOMISSOFT GmbH

This patch brings AS2 and AS2.01 to AS2.02 and also includes ATPUTIL updates. Scenery Issues are being addressed in the full patch.

Following Improvements have been made:

  1. Mouse Handling improved (Even outdated mousedrivers and Windows 9x mouse drivers not detecting VESA graphics modes are now forced into graphics mode)
  2. Mouse Pointer has been improved on VESA drivers (640*400 and 800*600) and Mach64 accelerator
  3. Backwards compatibility to ADLIB sound cards has been dropped, allowing the new sound system to work on more sound boards and configurations (no need for 388-38b ports anymore)

Following Bugfixes have been made:

  1. Equipped subLOGIC B737, B747 and S360 with modern COM radios (760 channels)
  2. Fixed occasional garbled indications on B744 COM radios
  3. MD83 fuel used gauges now stop, when simulation is paused
  4. B744 Announciators now update correctly, when autopilot is disengaged in automatic land
  5. MD83 MCP can now be moused in 640*400 resolution, too
  6. Install missing MODE1.MOD file
  7. Fixed ATC Clearance for first waypoint (only 3 letters of first waypoint were reported in the clearance message)
  8. Autopilots lost pitch channel, when autoland or ILS mode were deselected by pressing ILS/Autoland button a second time
  9. Fixed wrong vertical speed setting used when V/S was (blindly) adjusted from primary panel
  10. Fixed disappearing mouse under B744 COM Selector
  11. Fixed FMS commanding acceleration too early (below acceleration height) trying to achieve best flap speed
  12. Fixed bug, when B744 announciator was not updated on revoking LNAV (armed LNAV cancelled).
  13. Fixed incorrect VOR frequencies used for ATC assignments (e.g. MTD, ZUE)
  14. Fixed a lockup at MTD VOR, when doing assignments flights

Installation:

The self-extracting InstallShield file should be able to install the patch without any user intervention. However, if you installed AS2 in a different directory then the default C:\AIRSIM2, you should type the correct pathname when requested.
